This repair kit should be a must-buy for anyone purchasing a new or replacement solar pool heater. We just replaced our 24-year hold Heliocol system. Probably had 6 service calls over 24 years to repair heater tubes; each time, it appeared squirrels had bitten a tube and caused a water leak. $127 per service call to do a 60-second repair. If you are comfortable getting up on your roof, purchase one of these repair kits. Note: SwimJoy and Heliocol have different size tubes. Be sure to purchase the correct repair kit for your system.
