After 2 seasons of owning the typical blue bubble wrap pool covers I was frustrated with them.
While they did help reduce the evaporation from the pool, the solar gains in heating were marginal and worse they degraded quickly.

Sol+Guard Cover
CoolGuard™ Ultra does an amazing job of rejecting U/V, which controls heat gain to keep the water temperature within limits.
As you can see in the included Temperature Chart, with full sun and temperature peaks well in excess of 110°F for weeks at a time, the water temp never got to 95°F, which is the setting of my Nocturnal cooling, which greatly reduces my electrical cost…
The CoolGuard™ Ultra has eliminated any worry of leaving my pool unattended for a month or more without any attention and I am able to relax at time away from home. I am confident CoolGuard™ Ultra will be a long lasting performer even in our less than friendly desert climate. Frost at times in the winter and 120°F+ during the summer.

This year has been a dream, thanks to my new GeoBubble™ pool cover. Spring time start up revealed clear water with just a few leaves to clear away.
Then moving into summer the water temperature and clarity was maintained throughout. Chemical usage has been easy to control and notably less than previous years without the cover.
Despite kidney shape of the pool the roller system proved reliable after mastering a folding technique while the cover still rested on the water. So ensuring good swim temperatures for longer periods.

We recently purchased an above ground temporary summer pool. We struggled to get 25°C (77°F) pool temperature due to overnight temperatures, but since our purchase of the Sol+Guard™ pool cover, today I have a pool at 32°C (90°F) and it stayed overnight at 28°C (82°F). The morning temperature of the pool rises quickly with the additional heat provided through solar gain getting the pool to a really great temperature.
