The SwimEasy Difference

Engineered where other panels fail.

Solar panels expand and contract on a rooftop every single day for decades. Every SwimEasy design decision solves for that reality.

Animation of the SwimEasy universal mounting system

Universal Mounting System

Free-floating mounts anchor into rafters while letting the panel expand and contract without stressing the panel, the anchors, or your roof — one of the only systems designed to comply with home construction codes.

Over-Molded Header

The header is molded directly around the absorber tubes under high heat and pressure — a solid one-piece panel with no weld joints to fail and no flow restrictions.

SwimEasy absorber tubes with flexible zip joints

Flexible Zip Joints

Expansion joints every 6 inches let panel sections move independently — critical where trees or roof lines cast partial shade and create temperature differences across the panel.

SwimEasy tube-on-fin absorber surface

Tube-on-Fin Absorber

Fin webbing between each tube collects heat alongside the tubes themselves — the heating surface of flat-plate designs with the flexibility of loose-tube designs.

SwimEasy solar panels are certified by IAPMO R&T to NSF/ANSI Standard 50, SRCC Standard 100, and SRCC Standard 400.

Material Science

Why some panels last 20 years — and others don't.

The biggest difference between solar pool panels is invisible from the outside: how UV protection gets into the plastic. It's the difference between a panel that survives decades of sun and one that turns brittle.

How SwimEasy is made

Precompounded resin

UV inhibitors and pigments are compounded directly into the raw material by the resin manufacturer — before molding ever begins. Every molecule of the panel carries the same protection.

The result is uniform UV defense through the entire thickness of the panel, which is why SwimEasy panels routinely deliver 15–20 years of service in full sun.

How cheaper panels are made

Masterbatch blending

A concentrated additive is mixed with plain resin at the molding machine — faster and cheaper, but the blend is never perfectly even.

Inconsistent dispersion leaves weak spots with little UV protection. Those spots turn brittle first, and the panel fails years before it should.

Parts & Hardware

The full SwimEasy hardware family.

Every part is available individually — for expanding a system, replacing a component, or building exactly the layout your roof needs. All parts fit both 1.5″ and 2″ header panels (choose your size at checkout).

SwimEasy Panel Installation Kit, Stainless Steel

Panel Installation Kit

One per panel. Mounts each panel and makes panel-to-panel water connections: (2) heavy-duty header brackets, (3) strap brackets, (4) hose clamps, (2) connector hoses.

SwimEasy Row Installation Kit, Stainless Steel

Row Installation Kit

One per row. Connects your plumbing and completes gravity drainage: system hoses, pipe connectors, end cap, vacuum relief valve, strap hardware, and clamps.

Hold-Down Strap, High-Strength Woven Polyester Strapping For Solar Pool Heater Panels (150 ft. Bulk Roll)

Hold-Down Strap

100 ft bulk roll. Three rows per panel standard; five rows in high-wind climates. Woven for decades of UV exposure.

SwimEasy Row Spacer Kit, Stainless Steel

Row Spacer Kit

Positions panels on either side of skylights, attic fans, and other large roof obstructions — add any length of pipe between panels.

High-Wind Panel Installation Kit, Stainless Steel

High Wind Kits

Spring-tension mounts that secure the bottom header without blocking thermal expansion — panel and row versions for storm-prone areas.

SwimEasy/SwimJoy Solar Pool Heater Panel Repair Tool Kit & Plug Pack

Repair Tool Kit

Everything to fix a damaged riser tube in place — no panel replacement needed for a single puncture.

Before you order any part

Verify your header size.

Every SwimEasy part comes in two sizes matched to your panel's header: 1.5″ I.D. (1.9″ O.D.) or 2″ I.D. (2.375″ O.D.). Header size is the inside diameter of the manifold — the main pipe at the top and bottom of the panel.

Not sure? Call us before ordering — a two-minute check avoids a return.

I.D. O.D. 1.5″ I.D. = 1.9″ O.D. 2″ I.D. = 2.375″ O.D.
