My experience with Solar Pool Supply was very positive , if your not sure what your doing or just need some advise give them a call nothing but a positive experience getting you what you need or just answering your questions . I am reinstalling a Heliocol system that was removed for our PV system. The company that did the removal botched up the install . I took on the job with the help of Solar Pool Supply to replace old fittings , mounts and sensors to swiftly get the job complete the correct way. First issue was the contractor installed PV solar rail for mounting . This was not compatible with the Pool Solar panels or mounts. By flipping the rail and slight modification of the mounting hole the Gator clamp that was supplied in the panel kit was the perfect solution. Once this was figured out the Gator Clamps went on as expected and allowed the panel to go up quickly with the Panel mounting kit that was delivered minus the screws which were replaced with a T bolt to accommodate the PV rail slot. . The Panel Mounting kit included 4 Gator clamps ,hardware , seals and panel connector for each panel . This was a better price solution From Solar Pool Supply then buying separately. After the panels were up and secure we install the inlet and outlet fitting and plumbed the system utilizing the pre assembled vacuum relief valve supplied that just glued in . We ran the wires for the new air temp sensor with the existing wires and re-plumbed the new system to the old auto valves . Everything worked as it should and am happy we went with the suggestion from Solar pool Supply to change out all the old seals and mount along with new end caps vacuum sensor . I bought 10 solar panels for which - I was only equipped with one set of fittings- I even worked with Tyler on layout of the set. This is necessary to assemble the 10 panel set.
So you charge me for 2 PVC fittings / That should have been included originally or sent at No Charge.
Then you charge me for a temperature sensor. I didn’t request yet also had not received
THEN You ship it twice to an errant address. I lose my installer 3 weeks ago and the unit is not working!
I haven’t been able to reschedule.
You couldn’t refer to an installer in LA-

I paid you $100 for this misery that should have been gratis for many reasons//Lets see what customer service does now!
After we installed our swim joy panels we upgraded our sensor. Once again the staff was always responsive to questions and phone calls. They get a five star rating for customer service and excellence. Thank You .

Temperature sensor is mounted to the roof and is wired into my pentair easy touch system. It turns on the system when the air temp is 6 degrees warmer than the pool or when the air temp is below 40. (depending on your settings).
These are so inexpensive, consider ordering an extra sensor as a spare. Simple 2-wire connection (does not matter how you connect the sensor to your existing system). Just needs both wires connected to complete an on/off circuit.
