- A ball spring (5#) type check valve is typically installed at the highest point in a solar pool heating system. By allowing air to enter the pool solar panels, it aids in gravity drainage of solar pool collectors and piping.
- Internal components feature a Viton o-ring, glass-reinforced ball, and 5# stainless steel spring.
- Typically installed using a rubber hose type connector and hose clamps, which are sold separately.
Compatibility: Will work with any solar pool heating system that has round 1.5” or 2" I.D. header manifolds and makes attachments with rubber hose type connectors.
