Exactly what you need to fix Helicoil tubing . I was able to get up there and fix leak with 2 plugs instead of tech coming out for a 5 minute $200 fix.

These work very well however I took two stars off because approximately 1/4 of the plugs poked through during installation via the installation tool. It's necessary to order at least 25% more plugs than you think you may need. I did the recommended manual stretching of the plugs as well as utilizing spray silicone during the install as recommended. I was extremely careful. Do yourself a favor and buy more plugs and then you need, a lot more.

I found that if I drilled the holes in the manifold with the proper drill ( same as the outside diameter of the plugs) and used some waterproof plumbers grease, the plugs went all the way in and sealed the hole EVERY TIME. I told my sales person that but I am glad to share that tip with you guys as well.

We’ve had my Heliocol Pool heater panels on the roof of our home in the Anza-Borrego Desert for more than 10 years. The system has worked extremely well, but the punishment of the desert sun has begun to cause some small leaks.
