Easy to shape and cut to fit my irregular shaped pool. Decent warming properties, however I would question the claims of 12-15 degrees increase in water temperature. I have not seen any increase in my temps, though I'm not losing temperature on chilly nights either. Insulating blanket; yes, warmer...not so sure. High price compared to its peers, but overall it is a thick, good quality product that will definitely last more than a couple seasons like some of its cheaper competitors. True that it eliminates evaporation as claimed and reduces chemical use for sure.

Heavy duty, retains heat very well over cool nights. Temperature set to 84 degrees, and loses only about 2 degrees when heat is off overnight.

This pool cover is far superior to the ones I have gotten in the past from my Pool Service people that lasted less than two years. This is my first Geo Bubble pool cover, and I have only had it a couple months so I cannot speak to It’s longevity yet. I rely entirely on passive Solar to heat my pool, and I can already tell that it keeps the water a lot warmer than my previous covers did, even on days that are not extremely hot.
Also, even though the material is thicker and heavier than the previous covers, I am able to manually roll it off and onto the pool more easily because it does not wrinkle up and jam like the cheaper covers do. This seems to be an excellent pool cover for a very reasonable price, and I’m looking forward to it lasting a lot longer than my previous covers.

This is my first geo bubble but not my first thermal cover. Others kept pool warm but deteriorated after 2-3 years. My reel is very sturdy but getting the geo bubble started onto it is challenging as the stiffness and weight make it hard to roll up. As your rep explained by phone upon ordering Inam rolling it up with bubbles down against reel unlike my past covers. I am careful to keep out of sun when rolled up sometimes overnight to refresh the water and cool off a bit. Assume Incan trim edges to a tighter fit as it has been on for 2 plus weeks. Heavier, darker material than typical solar pool covers to hold in heat. Protective cover for use when on the roller is a real plus and will hopefully prolong the life of the pool cover. Time will tell!

With he 8 year warranty, we weren’t worried about it turning into microplastics in 6 months and it was heavy enough to stay put. The temperature difference is also great. We love it.

We opted to get the dark pool cover since our above ground pool only gets about 4-5 hours of sun. Cover works well and gets our pool temp up between 80F to 86F. The cover is quite sturdy and not made of cheap material. It is a bit expensive considering the pool only cost me $600 but you get what you pay for. I’m happy with the quality of the material used and its thickness.

The pool cover itself is great, but DO NOT buy one from this company unless you’re 100% certain it’s what you want and the correct size. We accidentally bought the wrong size and they would not honor an exchange because we had opened the package before realizing our mistake. Even if we hadn’t opened the package, they still would have charged us the 20% restocking fee instead of counting it as part of the exchange process. In short, we did not feel like we got A+ customer service.

We love it. Warmed our pool by 10 degrees in like 2 days. Very sturdy, not like regular bubble wrap looking stuff, this is thick material. Should last a few years even with the wife dragging it across the paver patio. :) I'll buy another one when that time comes.

The cover is simply amazing. The first thing you notice is the thickness so you know it’ll be around for a long time. It keeps the heat in no lost heat at night and it really cuts down on the products for algae. it’s the best pool cover. I’ve purchased so far.

Nicely designed and constructed solar cover. the thickness and solid nature is very impressive. We haven't used it when it gets fairly cool overnight, but initial experiments show that we lose 4-5 degrees without the cover and only 1 or 2 with it. Nice performance!!

The solar pool cover I purchased (the GeoBubble EnergyGuard) for my above ground Endless Pool has worked perfectly thus far. It has minimized evaporation and kept the temperature in an excellent range. This summer I will be pulling closed the retractable awning over it to keep it from overheating, but I will still use the cover to maintain water levels and keep debris out of the pool. I highly recommend, and am really glad I purchased this as opposed to cheap solar covers that barely lasted one season.

It was really expensive so it is impossible to say if it was worth the price. That will take about 5 years. I use liquid chlorine and acid so it could pay off well for reducing those costs because it seems while it is on it blocks the sun and really preserve the chemicals. With previous solar cover I would get bad algae blooms under the cover which obviously sucked. Hopefully this provides the benefit of stopping that

Have been getting lesser price and thinner covers. This is hands down the thickest cover yet. The most time was two years until they started to fall apart. (With taking them off and stored for the 120 temperature of Az in the summer. I will roll a cover this summer and will see if it will give a few years. So far it seems to be very good! Time will tell?!

This review is more for the company than the product as I haven't yet unboxed the cover. I was happy to be able to order a cover the size of my pool. The local pool supply companies didn't even come close and I always had to buy one too big then cut it down to size, wasting money, time and adding to the land fill. We are thoroughly impressed with the GeoBubble EnergyGuard solar pool cover. It surpassed our expectations and has garnered quite the interest by the pool company that helped us install it and our heater, as well as the pool service person. Since installing it over a month ago, our pool temps have not dropped very much overnight and the pool has needed less maintenance overall. We’ve had lower-than-usual temps in Florida, and as the pictures show, the pool water isn’t decreasing by much when the heater isn’t operating overnight. I would definitely recommend this cover and Solar Pool Supply for their assistance with all aspects of choosing and installing it.

The bubble material we purchased as a solar cover for our 8’ diameter spa arrived at our Nevada home shortly after we placed the order. We found the square sheet of bubble material to be robust but very easy to cut to fit. We used a white paint stick to mark the dark material, cutting the material with an 8” scissor. We easily fashioned the cover to include a “key” to fit into weir of the pool spillway. Although we haven’t had the cover long enough to comment on the long term material performance; however, the materials seem of high quality. We have found removing and reinstalling the cover for spa use is very easy. We think that we made a good purchase.

The product was misdelivered, than found at another address 2 miles south. In the interim, the sales team and Tyler, had already prepared another one and was ready to re-ship to me!.
The owner, employees are par excellence in everyway possible.
The product was easy to cut and fit into my Masterspa. It has held the 85 temperature well during this July.
For those who are tired of struggling with overly-heavy covers, this is a viable solution.
I pull it off, onto a clean tarp on the ground and weight the edges, so that I can pull it back onto the swim spa after swimming. I replace the cover while still in the pool and simply, walk along the edge and out of the water without incident.
I had to buy the $200. size which left a lot of surplus material. Hopefully, in the future there will be better sizing options for swim spas.
The only other concern is when the rain occurs in the winter and how I will keep it out of the spa.
Overall, this has been a wonderful experience. The "how-to" videos are priceless. This is so easy to place on and off the swim spa. Highly recommend!
