What a joke of product. Definitely not the way it is described. Could've just attached my nieces floaties to the end of the cover instead of wasting 400 dollars on this. Will file chargeback for deceptive advertising
Shipped super quick, which was appreciated. However, what's unclear is why the product is offered in black. It sticks out in the pool like a sore thumb. It is not the most aesthetically pleasing feature of the pool to begin with, and then to have it in black just amplifies the issue. Does anyone have a black pool or one with black water in it? Why can't this be made in white or blue to match the water or the pool covers themselves?? Seems like a no-brainer. Perhaps there is some scientific reason behind this decision?
This cover is heavy duty but is so easy to take on and off. I can do it by myself! Best cover we ever owned.

The cover floats like a cloud over the water. Great idea. We no longer fight the cover after swimming.
I paired my Floating Leading Edge With Pull Cord with a new ThermalTech Pool cover that is more durable than bubble solar pool covers and insulates the pool better too. The new ThermalTech cover is heavier and it still glides across the pool with the Floating Leading Edge With Pull Cord!

More information could have been provided about how to configure the Floating Edge when you have a spa overlapping with a pool. I gave this some serious thought and found a good solution. I also configured my floating edge to work with the elevated spa which spills water into the pool. I didn't want water running onto the GeoBubble pool cover. Everything is working just fine. Also the cover to protect the geobubble pool cover from the Sun and UV rays when the GeoBubble pool cover is not in use is not wide enough and keeps falling off all the time. Ours needs to be at least 2 ft wider to properly cover the geobubble pool cover when it's on the stand. This is frustrating and we're going to have to find some kind of makeshift way to secure the gray cover to the geobubble cover so it doesn't blow off. But like I said, it's still too narrow.

This leading edge makes it possible to cover my pool in about 3 minutes with almost no effort. At 71 yrs young I love this feature as we like using our pool year round and need to keep it covered when not in use in order to keep the temp at 84 which is what we like to swim in, even when it gets down into 40s and 50s ovrrnight here in mid Florida.
These things make a world of difference when installing a solar cover. Worth every penny. The only knock is that the 3-point rope system could work a little smoother. I think especially after they get wet they don't slide very smoothly. If you are pulling from dead center, they probably work best, but I have a waterfall wall on one end of the pool, so I'm always off to one side. It would be marvelous if they could make it work better from an offset.
We have a pool in a high wind area and chose the leading edge to keep the cover from taking off like a sail. It works perfectly and provides an easy on/off method for us to work with the cover and reel. I recommend it unconditionally.
The leading edge is fine, but the plastic caps that lock it in place to the pool cover are cheap and do not stand the test of time. As in, mine lasted two months. I routinely found the caps at the bottom of the pool and would have to pinch them back on. Time and time again. Thus, making the product a complete waste of money. I would not recommend purchasing the leading edge until the caps are replaced with a more reliable locking mechanism.
Makes putting the cover back on a breeze, what a great addition.
The leading edge is not really needed, it does not improve the functionality of the product and is overpriced for what it is.
This floating edge is a real gift. The cover follows it perfectly along the surface of the water and never once considers dipping into the water while you pull it across the pool. A real must-have when using a solar cover. Highly recommend.
The edge makes it very easy for one person to close the cover. We've only had it for a few weeks, so can't tell how it will hold up to the sun & chlorine & I don't love that the cord sits on top of the cover, but don't want to remove it every day.

My pool has rounded edges and this won't work. I had asked if I could adapt, he said yes? Nope! Money wasted. Everything else....the cover and roller, we love ā¤ļø and are well worth the money.

We rigged a lot of diffrent front edges over the years and they all sucked! This thing works great, and it makes the cover look good!
So glad I added this, it makes it so much easier to cover the pool. When covering the pool I no longer have to worry about it folding over and having to fix it to ensure the pool is covered correctly.
