We are in CA and get a lot of sun, so if you are one of those people who like their pool to be very very warm and are a few degrees away from perfection, this is a very cost effective way to get there. Fast shipping and easy to order. The cover is super heavy duty and is way thicker than anything I have seen so it's also heavier. I watch the installation video that they send me, from the time I unpack and cut into shape ( two person kidney shape pool ), it took approximately two hours. The pool heat up in about three days ( California). I left it on for five in hot weather, and it got too hot to swim. Another benefit of this cover is there is almost no water evaporation and the chemicals remain stable so I used less chlorine. Pulling it out and storing it was little bit of a task and took two people ( easier). Customer service on follow-up questions was excellent. I highly recommend this cover.

Disappointed with the protective sheeting that came with the cover. We don’t own a roller nor would one work with our pool. The cover protector is not very conducive to non roller applications as it was significantly undersized and requires a lot of time fighting your cover to get it compactly folded enough to not invalidate your warranty.

I’ve only had it for a couple months and seems to be doing its job by warming the water similar to other covers and keeps the water clean. It is much heavier so hopefully it will last longer than my previous covers (which was about 1.5 years). I have a roller and it is a bit harder to roll due to the weight. It would be helpful if the plastic piece that goes over the cover when on the roller was 6-12 inches longer to completely cover it. Also, there are no straps to keep the cover on so I had to rip a sheet to create some ties. I am happy so far with the purchase.

Cover is working great! Very Pleased. I have certainly noticed the difference. I also appreciated the phone support I received from Solar Pool Supply.
However, I do have 2 important suggestions for the manufacturer/suppliers of the GeoBubble Solar Cover and the wind up wheel that I also purchased:
1) Instructions should show more ways to configure product when an elevated spa intersects with a pool. I had to come up with my own configuration which is working fine. I also allowed for the waterfall spill from the spa to keep running without running on top of the GeoBubble cover.
2) The warranty requires that the GeoBubble Pool Cover must be covered when not in use (e.g. when it is out in the sun on the wind up wheel). The cover I received to protect the GeoBubble cover from the sun and UV rays (which is gray on one side, which should face out, and black on the other side) was clearly not wide enough and keeps falling off while on the wind up wheel every time the wind blows. This gray and black cover should be at least 2 ft wider and should provide 2 spring clamps to secure it "when the wind is blowing". This is how I have successfully secured it.

We bought the arctic blue cooling blanket about two years ago. Living in Florida can have your pool water up to 90+ degrees. Our solar chiller is not big enough to cool it very efficiently. So the combination of the geo bubble cooling blanket and the solar chiller kept the temperature at a more refreshing 83 Degrees. Then summer ended 😩 and we decided to try the geo bubble heating blanket in combination with our solar heater. So far so good. We had a run of 5 or 6 days of “cold” weather and the heater barely ran at all. The heating blanket was keeping up and didn’t cost me a cent to operate.
I can truthfully say that we have saved truckloads of money both directions and our pool is usable all the time.

This cover is thicker and more sturdy feeling than any cover I've had in the past. After the first week of having it on, my water remained at the same temperature of 90 degrees which is what I set my pool heater too and then I turn it off. Time shall tell if it holds up for many years as I plan on taking care of it following their instructions.

We have to get a new cover every 2 years as the plastic bubbles disintegrate and then we have little blue pieces of plastic in the pool. Yuck! This cover is heavier than our others. I’d have to review again in 3 years to tell you how long it lasts. But I’m hopeful!

This is the best solar blanket I have ever purchased. I’ve had this pool for nine years and experimented with various blankets and this one by far is the best. It didn’t take very long to heat my pool. It was heavy, which makes this type of blanket easy to unpack and lay it over my pool and cut it to the shape of my pool. It is already 92° and exceeds my expectations. Even though this was the most expensive blanket I have ever purchased, I would recommend it to anybody in having such a fine product That will last for years to come.

I made my own reel to roll it up but that's the kind of stuff I like to do. We added this cover over our existing safety cover and it holds in the heat much better. In the winter, we were losing about 4 degrees F overnight but his cut it down to 1 degree loss and it amplifies the heat gain on a sunny day by about +2 degrees.
